I would absolutely love to use this app for my wedding in June this year and other events as I’ve been doing for the past 4 years. This was a huge bummer as I just had a New Years party and didn’t realize this feature had changed, so it was unfortunately apparent in a lot of my attendees’ photos. If you have props with any sort of writing on them, the app now mirrors them so all of the words are backwards. Now, it appears that’s no longer an option, and I’m stuck with the app’s predetermined rectangles because any photos taken lay on top of my custom template art.Īnother huge problem is that the app now mirrors photos and no longer flips them like before. That meant I could create my own shapes and transparent areas that would knock out to reveal the photos taken underneath. Previously, I could upload my own custom designed template art and it would be placed over the photos. It looks like it has recently been redesigned and although the interface is a lot cleaner and simpler, some of my favorite features have been removed.
Loved the previous version but not happy about the updatesįirst of all, I’ve been using this app since 2016 and have had no complaints until now.

I recommend it for weddings, graduations, retirement parties, and birthdays. I was also able to create a layout that had my sons picture as the logo and our friends and family in the photos surrounding him, totally making our photo-booth sessions a time to remember. This app worked perfectly! I especially liked the option to customize how you want each photo strip to look, this made for lots of printer friendly photos to take home that I was able to email to all the guests who attended my party. I purchased this app to see if maybe I could find something customizable for my son since it’s his 1st birthday, to create wonderful DIY photo booth print designs that matched with my sons birthday party theme, and I wanted to recreate the same feel and design that I had created with Facebook for our event. Try it out! Have fun, and enjoy making colorful photos of you and your friends, works of art! You'll look like a pro, all the while, having fun and laughing out loud, taking pictures of you and your friends. The app is literally a photo booth in your iPad. It's easy to set up your own photo booth at your next event!
